Recurring checklists: stop chasing your team
Did the closing checklist get done last night? If the only way to find out is to message whoever was on shift, you spend your evenings chasing people instead of running the business.
taskhando puts your recurring checklists on a schedule. Each one has its own time, and the app shows you which checklists are done, which are due and which were missed.
Set the schedule once
- Every day, on the days of the week you choose, or once on a set date.
- A time window, like 7 am to 9 am for opening, or a deadline: before 10 am, or after 9 pm for closing.
- Optional start and end dates, for seasonal or temporary checklists.
- Checklists with no set time work too, for jobs done whenever they're needed.
See today at a glance
Open the app and today's checklists are sorted for you: done, due now, coming up later, or missed. A checklist counts as missed when its time window ends without anyone submitting it.
Instead of asking around, you know straight away which ones need a follow-up.
Spot the patterns
Missed checklists from recent weeks stay visible in the app, so patterns stand out: the Sunday close that keeps slipping, or the morning clean that's often late. That's a conversation with facts, not a guess.
Easy for your team
- Staff scan the checklist's QR code with their phone camera. No app, no account.
- They tick off the tasks and submit, with their name or their own 4-digit PIN. Required tasks must be ticked before it can be sent.
- You see who submitted it, when, and any optional tasks that were skipped.
Questions
What happens when a checklist is missed?
Once its time window ends without a submission, it shows as missed in the app. How you follow up is up to you.
Can I schedule weekly cleaning, not just daily checklists?
Yes. Pick the days of the week each checklist is due, such as Mondays and Thursdays for a deep clean.
Do my staff need an account?
No. Staff scan a QR code and the checklist opens in their phone's browser. Only you use the taskhando app.
What does it cost?
taskhando is free for 30 days, and you don't need a card to start. After that, you can subscribe in the app.
